Richard Fein, long time member of the Worship and Study Minyan, is a poet, translator and writer in both Yiddish and English. He has written fourteen books of his own poetry, four books of translations of Yiddish poetry, one book of criticism and two memoirs of Yiddish.
Richard will read from The Polish Dream Machine, his latest book of his own poems. Richard will also read from Zlochov, My Home, by Moyshe-Leyb Halpern, a recently published edition of Richard’s book of his translations from the course of Halpern’s career. Halpern was a key figure in modern Yiddish poetry (1886-1932.)
