The Worship and Study Minyan at Harvard Hillel is commencing a pop-up Tzedakah Fundraiser in support of California wildfire relief and recovery efforts. We have elected to channel our funds through the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles Wildfire Relief Fund, a registered 501C(3) charity.
The fundraiser will run from January 15 – March 15 (at which time we will send the total funds we have collected).
Monetary donations to this communal Tzedakah effort can be made in one of two ways:
1. The first is the time-honored tradition of writing a check. Checks are made out to Harvard Hillel and should have ‘W&S Tzedakah’ written on the memo line to assure proper crediting of your payment. Checks should be mailed to Harvard Hillel, 52 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA 02138.
2. The second method is online via this dedicated link, good for the payment of W&S dues – or, separately, for donations to our Sherman Sass Tzedakah Fund. Payments made online at this link only will be credited directly to our Minyan account, and payment should generate an automatic thank you note/receipt at the time of payment.
